Everything started from a Husky Bar…

Our story started in 1995 when the owners, Esa and Anne Lindholm, put up a Husky Bar offering services for the hikers and skiers trekking on the paths of Urho Kekkonen National Park.

The Husky Bar was one of the first to offer husky safaris in the area, and over the years this two-man family business with a few dogs, has grown into an international team with 200 dogs. We now offer a variety of guided all-year-round outdoor activities, as well as accommodation and restaurant services in the middle of Saariselkä fell centre.

About the team…

We are like a family. We work as a team together with our husky dogs, and each person and husky are loved and adored. Our guides are warm, welcoming and funny to the core, but not only that – the people here are also professionals and will ensure your safety on our wilderness tours. First-hand experience is our priority and our target is to offer each guest a memorable tour in one of the beautifulest destinations on earth! We hope that our team spirit and our love for the wild reflects onto our services.
