2.5-3 Hour Husky Safari

Join us for a Husky Safari in Saariselkä, Finland!

An experience in the nature with Arctic husky dogs is a memory you won’t forget! Let our guides and huskies take you on a fun adventure. Enjoy the silence while mushing your dog team through the Lappish wilderness. How the ride is offered, you ask? The sleigh is shared by two people (one person as driver, another sitting comfortably in the sledge on reindeer fur). Half way you have the possibility to change places. The two hrs husky safari track is 10 km, and the actual driving time is around 1-1.5hrs. After the ride enjoy a hot drink and small snack in our kota hut, where our guide will tell more about our dogs and farm.

Service includes pick up from our Saariselkä safari office, thermal clothing (overalls, boots, mittens, woollen socks). And don’t worry, there will be time for taking pictures of the magical nature and our lovely huskies. Hot juice and snacks will be served after the ride. You might also meet our cute husky puppies (subject to availability of course).

Please note that clients drive the sledges themselves, guide will be with you in front.
